Ritsuko's Paintings

Ritsuko plunges into the space of pure white canvas with nothing on.
She swims in the space of canvas like an aerial swimming.
Ritsuko cries, laughs, gets angry gets sick at making mistakes.
She grieves, desires and shouts.
The space is infinite and boundless.
She can't find her goal in the infinite space.
There is no goal; nevertheless, she never gives up her dream.

What is art?
I am not sure.
I do paint without thinking about it.
I just do it.
But what is painting?
To paint is to be alive, isn't it?
To cry, laugh, rage, desire, love and hate ...
That is to say-art.
Yes, Ritsuko herself is art.
Ritsuko is the same as art.

Ritsuko's "Ritsu" means, "rule" in Japanese.
Yes, I, Ritsuko am the rule.
Is that the reason why I paint my own way Ritsuko Style?
I do not care about "perspective" or "shading" or "golden section" or "composition."

Men, women, you, me, human beings and love exist in the world.
Love involves pleasure and sorrow.
Love goes together with fear and depression.
And then end of love is death.
Death has already been around me.
I am supported and nurtured by the love of those who are now dead.
And I live and paint.
How happy I am!
Ritsuko!

For all that, why do you paint so naively and primitively like children?
Is it wrong to paint like children?
It is hard to pretend to be an unskilled artist.
Even Picasso took 80 years to paint like children, didn't he?

She persists in her childlike way of painting men and women, she always paints with an innocent spirit in her won primitive revolution.
Ritsuko is naked and plunges in to the space of pure white canvas, swimming in her own Ritsuko style!
