Artist's Statement

I believe that the real meaning of creation is the shifting of an artist's point of view and values, and the viewer's recognition of those shifts.

My artwork is born of a balance between the physical resistances between diverse media such as oil, acrylic, raw pigments, resin, paper, canvas and plywood.

Because of this, my works sometimes show unpredictable results when they are finished.

Art should be a means of expression that is pure; that should be the desire of the artist.

I always try to have my works capture a primitive condition.

I try to stay away from cliches and established ideas.

Art should appeal to our soul and not just to our eyes.

With an innocence that is free of theory, art gains more power than that of words, and it can take us away from the mundane world, and amuse us and heal our souls

Drawing and sketching are significant exercises as indispensable as my daily bread.

And this painting came into existence through the affairs that surround me in my daily life.
